Aimed to address the UNSDGs 14 and 15 (Life under water & Life on land), I-WELD organised UBK22 where we did sectoral clean ups, tree plantings and a nature conservation event.
Fully sponsored by SWIFT Support Services Sdn Bhd, I-WELD managed to aid over 100 families (low-income communities, PPR residents, old-folks’ homes) and 500 individuals (tahfiz students and orphans) in Klang Valley.
I-WELD and kind hearted volunteers from Klang Valley had join forces to help those affected by the flash floods in Shah Alam, Selangor.
IEF took place at Swiss Garden, Kuala Lumpur attended by almost 200 people with speakers from various industries (i.e., banking, education, food & beverages and many more).
I-WELD successfully organised one of the first online festivals in Malaysia through a VR platform, KIVEL. Attended by over 2,000 users across the world.
For I-WELD’s 7th year of Ramadhan CSR program, I-WELD has spent the holy month aiding tahfiz students, orphanage homes, OKU homes as well as the refugees in Klang Valley.
Following our successful LAH1, the team visited an orphanage home in Subang to assist in providing some basic necessities as well as to celebrate the children’s birthdays.
The team takes over Setiu, Terengganu to help those in need by giving out necessities as well as opening a ‘Free Market’ for the poor families to ‘buy’ items.
Officiated by Malaysia’s former Secretary General, Tan Sri Ismail Bakar, I-WELD hosted its first ever economy-related program – the Virtual Economy Forum attended by over 250 people virtually.
I-WELD organised its first event in collaboration with The Love House of Celebration, housing over 70 international students from universities across Malaysia, discussing current issues and challenges.
Spent the day with the mental health patients of Hospital Kuala Lumpur by baking bread with them in conjunction with World Mental Health Day.
In collaboration with The Love House of Celebration, I-WELD housed 16 students from universities across Malaysia to compete in re-designing The Love’s grand entrance as Malaysia’s tourist hub.
Together with the students of International University of Malaya-Wales, The Love and I-WELD hosted Panggilan Merdeka festival which was attended by over 1,000 visitors.
Since 2015, before its establishment, I-WELD (formerly known as Trust Secretariat Society) has organised break-fast with anak tahfiz, orphans and golongan asnaf to make their Ramadhan more memorable.
After a year-long of having virtual meetings and initiatives, the team finally met up for our AGM.
